The Playoffs Approach
In week 28 of the NORAD season, AMOS started the night with a decisive 11-3 win over Canada Colorado. HollowBrook Dental then rolled to their 22nd win of the season, beating Nelson & Co. 7-3. After a close first two periods, OfficeScapes owned the third period and pulled away from Platinum Group winning 7-3, in the third game. To finish the night off, Triple J squeaked by World Orphans 3-2 in a tightly contested game.
With only two weeks of the NORAD regular season remaining, only three teams are locked into their playoff seeds. HollowBrook Dental has clinched the #1 seed, Nelson & Co. will be the #7 seed, and Canada Colorado will be the #8 seed. World Orphans’ loss to Triple J stopped them from clinching the #2 seed, but they hold a four point lead over Platinum Group with only two games remaining. The current #4 (AMOS), #5 (Triple J), and #6 (OfficeScapes) seeds are all separated by only two points, and all three teams won this past weekend. The last two weeks of games will help put an exclamation on the regular season before we head into the playoffs!

Home Run Stretch!
As we enter the home run stretch of our season before playoffs we saw some unusual outcomes from Sunday’s games. The World Orphans topped Office Scapes 8-1. Canada Colorado claimed their 2nd win of the season with an 8-3 victory over Triple J, when CC has everyone healthy and on the ice they certainly look like a contender! AMOS beat Nelson & Company 6-4, in another close loss for Nelson. Platinum Group offered Hollowbrook their 3rd loss of the season, winning 6-3.
Getting Back in the Rhythm
After a few weeks of play, NORAD is looking back in its rhythm. A couple teams have returned to their dominant style of play; also good to see Canada Colorado’s goalie, Ian, back from IR after a 12 week hiatus. This week saw the World Orphans top Triple J, 7-3. Canada Colorado fell to AMOS, 7-2 after a close 2 periods. Hollowbrook powered over Nelson 12-4, showing their league dominance thus far. Platinum Group beat Office Scapes 5-2, as they continue their upward movement in the league.
