The 2022-2023 NORAD Draft will be different than anyone has seen before. This year, for the first time ever, players will be invited to partake in the draft itself, August 7th at 5pm. In years past, Sponsors and Captains would meet and have the draft by themselves. After the teams were set, players would be invited to a preseason party where they would be able to meet their new team. This year we will be hosting the draft at TRiNiTY BREWING CO. This means that players will be invited to come mingle with fellow players and see the draft live pick by pick. Food and drink tickets will be provided for those who decide to come. Each team was allowed to protect 11 players from last year’s team and the rest of the players were put back into the draft pool. The draft will help the NORAD teams fill out the remaining spots on their rosters. This year will also feature a “Free Agent List”. This list will be used for teams that may be short for games or if they need to replace a player that did not work out due to injury, lack of attendance, or lack of payment. So if you do not get drafted, don’t worry because there is a chance you will still get a call. We hope to see you August 7th at TRiNiTY BREWING CO!
The Draft will start at 5:00pm but players are welcome to arrive as early as 4:30pm.
