NORAD Hockey Summer League Registration

We will again be looking to put together a NORAD Summer League. This will be a league for players that just want to continue to skate over the summer. As opposed to last year, we will look to skate Sunday nights as we normally do. It will be different from the normal league in a few key ways, however…

  • Shorter season – we are looking at mid May until Early August, probably 12 games or so
  • Less teams – a lot of players like their summers for other activities, so this would probably only be 4 teams
  • No draft – players will be placed on teams at random, while making sure the teams are even
  • Robson will be closed – games will most likely start at Sertich and then move to Robson when they open back up
  • No sponsors – the teams will just have single colored practice jerseys and be named accordingly
  • No stats, standings, or playoffs – this would be a league simply for players not wanting to take the summer off

The idea for the teams would be to match the current makeup of the NORAD teams. This means each team would get one 6, four 5s, five 4s, four 3s, and two 2s. Spots would be very limited, our total number of available spots would be 64 (only 4 goalies). The available spots will be first come, first served with a waiting list that could potentially be a sub list, meaning you’ll need to register as soon as possible. Here is the breakdown of available spots…

  • Four 6s
  • Sixteen 5s
  • Twenty 4s
  • Sixteen 3s
  • Eight 2s

*Inaccurate self rating will result in skill level re-evaluation and possible removal from team/league.*
