The 2023/2024 NORAD season officially started last night at Ed Robson Arena. There was a lot of excitement in the building as players took the ice for the first time this season. Seven teams returned from last season and one new team was added, Ace Hardware. Ace and AMOS played the first game of the season, with AMOS ruining Ace’s debut with an 8-4 victory. The second game of opening night had Platinum Group narrowly defeat World Orphans 4-2 after an empty net goal. Game three had last year’s runner up Triple J beat the newly named OS Offices (formerly OfficeScapes) 5-2. The week one finale had HollowBrook Dental start their title defense with a 7-1 win over Nelson & Co. The season is just getting started, but it’s great to have the NORAD league back!
